Ingredients  

  1. Preheat the oven to 225C / 440F.
  2. Clean the squash and place it in a saucepan of boiling salted water for 5-8 minutes, until it begins to soften. Then strain and cool down the squash.
  3. Divide them in half lengthwise and make a hole with a spoon.
  4. Finely chop onion and garlic. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Fry the minced meat. Add the chopped tomatoes, basil and salt / pepper.
  6. Let the meat sauce simmer on low heat for approx. 35 minutes
  7. Add the meat sauce in the hole of the squash and put on a baking tray.
  8. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven for approx. 20 minutes.
