Ingredients  

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C / 390F.
  2. Put almonds in a large bowl.
  3. Sprinkle oil over the nuts (use enough to make a small layer of oil on the almonds so the salt sticks. This is much less than you might think, so start carefully).
  4. Add salt (I like them salty, but here you just have to find your preference). You can also use chili powder to add a little more spice.
  5. Then mix almonds and salt with your hands or other suitable utensils
  6. Put the almonds on a baking tray covered with a baking sheet, and make sure that you spread them all out so that they are not on top of each other.
  7. Place the tray in the middle of the oven for 10 minutes (be careful that over 10 minutes will most likely cause the almonds to burn).
  8. Take out the tray and cool them down.
  9. Enjoy by themselves or together with a piece of dark chocolate :)
